Preparation for Meditation

Trouble meditating? Can’t concentrate? Has anyone ever taught you how to concentrate? To be able to meditate and sustain this practice in your life, it is essential you:

- Acquire a clear understanding of how the mind works
- Work with your subconscious to remold old habit patterns and create new ones
- Develop your willpower, concentration and a systematic approach towards meditation

In this workshop you will discover simple yet highly effective practical tools that when implemented into your daily routine, with consistent practice, will help you sustain a meditative lifestyle.

Time: 1:30pm to 3:30pm

Beginning to Meditate

Having understood the preparation for meditation steps we can now begin to meditate. This workshop will dive into understanding the chakras, the forms of energy and how to redirect it through the body, a step by step outline of a meditation and more. A guided meditation will be conducted as well to practice what we’ve learned. With consistent practice and the application of the right techniques the benefits of meditation are endless.

Time: 4:00pm to 6:00pm

"In February 2009 I went to a meditation workshop given by Dandapani in New York City. I did not have big expectations for the class but I had friends going and signed up in solidarity. Not only did I love the teachings I learned that day but they inspired me to take Dandapani's trip to Northern India that March so that I could learn more. As a result of the excellent experience I had traveling and learning with Dandapani I plan to go back. Not only to India but to any workshops Dandapani teaches in the future."
