This majestic marble building was built to commemorate Queen Victoria's 1901 diamond jubilee and certainly one of India's finest colonial structures. Set in a sprawling garden the design is a fusion of British and Mughal architecture.
The Mullik Ghat flower market is a sight to behold. Located on the east side of the Howrah bridge this flower market is overflowing with people and flowers. Weave in and out of huge piles of garlands and flowers as you watch the locals haggle away.
