The focus of our study during this 5-day retreat is meditation. The retreat is open to those wishing to learn, beginners or regular meditators.

We will start with the basics - learning how the mind works. Then learn the art of concentration before exploring ways to develop our will power. The first thing we encounter when we begin to meditate is the subconscious mind. We'll learn the nature of this state of mind and how to work with it using ancient yogic tools that are practical in today's world.

We will also explore the nervous system and the various chakras within the body, seeing how a meditator works with them. Understand the masculine and feminine psychic nerve currents, plus learn simple breathing techniques to help with your meditation practices.

Each day we will meditate together. The group helps the individual and the individual helps the group, my guru would often say. We will practice together and reflect over our inner journeys in the quiet evenings by the sea.
